We worship together on Sundays at 9:30 am. You can join us in person or hop on our YouTube livestream.
Since our beginning in 1990, Heartland has been a member of the Reformed Church in America (RCA).

Heartland is easy to find from Pella's main square. You can head north from the town square on Main St. and drive about 2 miles. We are just 15 seconds past Tri-County Vet on the right side of the road. There is plenty of parking, and there is only one door leading into the church. One of the door openers will greet you, and you will find yourself walking into the back of the sanctuary. Our parking lot, sanctuary, restrooms, and most classrooms are easily accessible by wheelchair.
Worship begins at 9:30. People come as they are - in jeans or dress pants, t-shirts, and maybe a suit or two. The music includes a blend of hymns and more contemporary songs sung by the congregation, as well as occasional special music by the choir or an individual. Words are projected on a screen in the front of the sanctuary for congregational singing, and can be found in the bulletin and in hymnals as well. Worship is often led by a team from the congregation. Children are welcome in worship, but there’s a nursery available if you need it. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday during the school year, children are invited to Children and Worship during the sermon time.
Sermons focus on the text from the Bible and how it interacts with life. Worship is usually finished by 10:35. A time of fellowship, coffee and homemade baked goods follows in the back of the sanctuary.
We hope to see you soon!
